In his newest lecture, “The Future of the Near-Death Experience” Dannion will explain how and why the near death experience occurs. Dannion Brinkley is the New York Times best selling author of Saved by the Light, At Peace in the Light, and Secrets of the Light: Lessons from Heaven. After being struck, in the head, by lightning in 1975, Dannion was pronounced dead at his local hospital. While his body was covered with a sheet, and set aside until someone had the time to take it to the morgue, he embarked on a fantastic voyage to the heavenly realms. Twenty-eight minutes later, Dannion returned from Heaven with a remarkable story, of the afterlife, to tell. Again, in 1989, during open-heart surgery, he found himself once again, out-of-body, and traveling down the tunnel into the Light. Then, unbelievably, a third near-death experience happened to Dannion as the result of brain surgery in 1997.
